"Celebrate Life"
The dirt has been moved and the area where the new ReCreation Center is to be built is being prepared for the next step. We have the steel on site. So we wait in hopeful expectation of the permits being issued. Meanwhile, we look forward to the building being completed and the glass sculpture of the resurrected Jesus with His hands raised to the heavens being placed at the entry. We look forward to the lives that will be celebrated in this new ReCreation Center. We invite you to participate in this dream however you can. Some of you can participate financially and we do need your gifts to complete this project. Some of you will be able to participate in prayer or in serving in some way those are needed as well. However the Lord leads you this blog is for you and the community of Washington Cathedral. Please use this blog to share your excitement, your prayers, and the many ways God has blessed you because of the involvement that you have had or will have in the new ReCreation Center.

It's great to see the progress!!
It is very exciting to see what is happening. Tell us more! Are there any photos that could be added to "see" as well as hear about the progress. I am sure right now there isn't much construction info because that's on hold???? But there is probably other stuff happening that would be great to hear about.
Show me the gravel!!! (although show me the money may be more appropriate here)
